- We are in the business of financing, leasing, developing and managing airports and airport infrastructure.
The various locations where our airport services have been performed include large and small hub airports; reliever and other general aviation airports; heliports; passenger terminals; fixed based operations (FBOs); GSE and air cargo facilities.
- AvPORTS provides a full menu of airport management, airport development, and airport infrastructure services to air carriers, regional airports and small to medium hub airports, reliever airports and general aviation airports and heliports as well as passenger terminals, fixed based operations (FBO) and air cargo facilities.
- AvPORTS was originally established in 1927 as part of Pan American World Airways, Inc., (a wholly-owned subsidiary of Pan American World Airways, the original airline pioneer)
- After PanAm, other world-class companies like Johnson Controls World Services, Inc. and Associate British Ports PLC owned AvPORTS, before it became an AFCO Company in 2009.
- AvPORTS is currently an AFCO company (Aviation Facilities Company), AFCO being a developer and manager of airport infrastructure facilities in the US. AFCO owns and operates over eight million square feet of on-airport cargo warehouse and apron space; as well as FBOs, GSE facilities, and off-airport parking lots.
- The AvPORTS portfolio comprises eight FAA-certificated airports, including: Albany International Airport (ALB); Atlantic City International Airport (ACY); Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR); Republic Airport (ILG); Stewart International Airport (SWF); Teterboro Airport (TEB); Tweed-New Haven Regional Airport (HVN); and Westchester County Airport (HPN).
- The AvPORTS Team has been providing airport management services and airport facility management services for over 80 years.
