	Students Recognized At Teterboro Airport Scholarship Fund Awards Luncheon udson County high school were each awarded $1,500.00 scholarships by the 2010 Teterboro Airport Community Benefit Fund Committee at an awards ceremony and luncheon held on May 25, 2011. The fund, which was formed in 1986 and is sustained by corporate and individual sponsors, has granted scholarships totaling $151,250.00 to 161 individual students for twenty-four years. The students and their families; fund sponsors and committee members; representatives from the nine schools, officials from local communities and the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey who own and operate the airport, attended the annual event, which took place again this year at the Dassault Falcon Jet hangar located on the airport. Speakers included Teterboro Airport Manager Richard Heslin, Assemblyman Gary Schaer, Representative from the 36th. District and Teterboro Airport Community Scholarship Fund co-chair John Panarello of AvPORTS, Manager Airport Services at Teterboro Airport. Proceeds from an annual golf event, which is held in September, help to fund the scholarships each year. 5K Run For New Jersey's United Way At Teterboro Airport The Annual 5K Run to benefit Bergen County, New Jersey's United Way was held on the Main Runway at Teterboro Airport on Saturday, July 16, 2011. Over $10,000.00 in random prizes and a $1,000.00 Super Grand Prize were awarded.
